Why should we have an attitude of gratitude? Watch the video. Leave a comment.
You don’t have to beat yourself up for bad choices. Give yourself some grace.
Our value is not measured by what we own and what we can do for others. We are valuable as we are. God has blessed us with life an we get to show up as who we are with no hesitation. Do you know your worth? Do you know your value?
In November of 2012 I decided that I would not set a resolution for 2013. My goal was to be deliberate and purposeful as to what I wanted to attract into my life during 2013. I listed my Top 10 Intentions for 2013.
About a week ago a good friend of mine Lashawn Williams the Arts and Culture Editor of Gapers Block reached out to me with an idea. She suggested that I do a recap of my year in order to be clear about the accomplishments that I have made.
I thought that was a great idea, and because I did The Top 10 Intentions for 2013 it has afforded me the ability to look back and see how my intentions have panned out over the past 12 months.
Now…let’s take a look at my year…..
2013 Precise Year in Review
1. Have a stronger connection to the creator and keep my vibration high.
This is an ongoing journey and after this amazing year I know for a fact that this connection has grown and is continuing to get stronger in each moment. I know the creator is real and I understand that we have been given the tools to achieve greatness. My eyes are open wide and I am more in tune with who I am and the ability and gifts that I have been blessed with. I am grateful to the creator for this.
2. Develop stronger more meaningful relationships with my family and friends.
I have been blessed to have a circle of family and friends that are very supportive. This year has allowed me to be more attentive and has given me insight as to who has my back. I have met so many new people and strengthened relationships that I thought were over. The treasure is with our friends and family and I honor them.
3. Be the creator I am supposed to be.
This year I have embraced the fact that I am a creator. I have been more deliberate as to how this message of positivity and power is and will continue to be delivered to the world. I wrote some great video treatments and some amazing songs. The more creative and bold that I am the more I attract other creative people. Let’s continue to build. Greatness is on the horizon.
4. Finish 5 projects sell 100k independently
I didn’t finish 5 projects; However I did finally finish “Ladies Love Mixtapes”, filmed the video for the lead single “Take Our Time”. The listening session for ‘The Anti Skinny Jeans LP” at The silver Room was successful and “A Hate You Can Trust” by The Guild a project I am prominently featured on was released.
5. Go on World Tour and perform for sold out stadiums.
The world tour and sold out stadiums didn’t happen YET, but I did A LOT of shows, the most notable was The Main Stage at The Silver Room Block Party. I also made a couple of trips to Indiana. One trip was to perform at Hype Magazines 11 year celebration, then I went to Indianapolis to perform at Pure Passion West and I was interviewed by Taj Longino of TWTTV.com
6. Be more fearless.
Eliminating fear from our lives is what allows us to move without doubt. The moment we tear down this wall the blessing come. Im knocking down a brick in each moment. I am more open and more willing to be vulnerable.
7. Increase the flow of prosperity to me in the form of money and health.
I lost 30lbs this year!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!! I got a new car!!! As a result of the shows that I have done the prosperity continues to flow.
8. Be the voice of Hip Hop Conscious Artists
9. Buy Mansion of Star Island and Move To Miami
Still catching up to this and I am encouraged.
10. Buy Condo in Chicago Museum Park.
As the prosperity continues to flow and I know I am moving closer to this.
I am so encouraged after seeing what has been accomplished in 2013. This makes me more determined and focused. I am ready for 2014…Are you?
Stay Focused, Positive and Productive
How was your year? Tell me about it. Leave a comment…share.. 🙂
“Yo…whats up Rick Ross!!” said some random woman “Yeah Man I see you Rick Rossin it over there!” said some random guys on a street corner while I was walking down the street with a young lady. “6 Piece, Mild Sauce..aint got not bread…bitch I got coleslaw…bitch I got coleslaw!!”….HA! The last one is a knock off of Rick Ross’s song “9 Piece” I made up when I was doing the CGX showcase…lol
Umm…yeah …anyway. The only thing Rick Ross and I have in common is that we both rap; however up until a few weeks ago we probably did weigh the same.
To be honest I never realized I was so huge until my doctor used the words “Morbidly Obese” with me. I studied Latin at Hales Franciscan (S/O to Father Lawrence) so I know that morbid is derived from the Latin word meaning diseased or unhealthy. Obese means fat. So pretty much I was so huge that I was at risk of getting some type of disease that could potentially kill me. Thats is sobering.
I have too much to live for and things to do. I had to change my mind. Fortunately I have people in my life that care for me and have been helping me on this journey and I appreciate them a great deal. I’ve been working out 5 days a week, cutting calories and a list of other things that has led to me shedding 28.0 pounds as of 2 minutes ago. I just weighed myself.
My short term goal is to loose 30 pounds. I’m 2 pounds away!! My long term goal is to get to 250 pounds. Im 42 pounds away.
I can’t speak highly enough about my support system. Everyone from friends and family have been here for me during this journey. They have always been here. I just needed to choose to do it.
It’s so amazing to feel your body change for the better. My clothes fit different, I’m more energetic and over all I just feel good.
I know there are so many other people out there who are like me and what to drop some weight and get healthier. Many of us wait till the New Year to get started on our journey.
I was speaking with someone very close to me and she had the idea of getting fit before the New Year. Lets not wait to drop the weight. Lets go into 2014 NEW!!! IT’S GENIUS!!
I have started The October 1st Challenge “Get Fit For 2014”. The idea is to start your training now and actually get the ball moving in 2013 towards your fitness goals, so that it is second nature by the time the new year comes around. Who knows, maybe you can achieve your goal by midnight of December 31, 2013.
YOU have to WANT to do THIS. No one else can coax you or make fun of you enough to change your life. Thousands of others including myself are here for you to provide support. We need each other, so lets help each other.
So…ARE YOU WITH ME?!!!
I want to know what you think about this. How much weight do you want to loose? Will you join me on this challenge. Leave a comment below.
If you want to know more about what I’m doing to lose weight email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com

Just woke up with so much on my mind. I feel so very fortunate for my experiences thus far. I look forward to greater and even more prosperous experiences in the future. It has been a challenge and everything that happens does not seem like it is in my favor…but it is. The truest blessing is to be alive with the ability to try and try again. DO NOT GIVE UP!!! I dont care what anybody says….DO NOT GIVE UP!!! We are so powerful and recently the starts have aligned for us. The shift has happened for us. Our minds are changing. We recognize our power. We are no longer in darkness.
As I type this I am becoming new. I am embracing my oneness with the universe. I thank my ancestors for their guidance and protection. I move into 2013 bold and deliberate. I expect good things, high vibrations, prosperity and enlightenment. I expect my circle of friends and family to understand who we are and act accordingly. We are the children of the creator with access to the storehouse. We are AMAZING!!! We deserve the best and we are grateful for it. We welcome 2013 as the year of realized dreams. God is Awesome and so are YOU!!!!

Good Evening World! We are not shaken. We are not worried. In the bleakest of moments we understand that the universe is in our favor. Our spirits are made stronger by the fact that we are connected. We raise our vibration. We speak words of power. We act in good faith. We move into our good deliberately with no apology. Those who have left this physical plane cover and guide us. They never leave. We are in tune with this greatness. We are in the midst of this shift. Pay attention. We pray. We meditate. We focus. We are one. God is Awesome and so are You! -Precise
Whats Good World!!!
Welcome to the fourth topic in this series entitled What Ladies Love.
The answers to last weeks question “What do you consider a deal breaker in a relationship?” were very interesting. The number one deal breaker is LYING. To be honest I was surprised I didn’t see anyone mention money. Im learning more and more each week. Sometimes are expectations maybe totally different from what people are actually thinking.
I sent out a few messages asking for a good question for this week and I got flooded with great ones. I could only choose one. Dont worry…Ill be using the others for the coming weeks.
This weeks question comes from Sondra. She asks “When is it the right time to introduce your mate to your children? How do you do it?”
I cant wait to see the answers for this one. Children are always a sensitive subject. By the way Ladies, invite the men over to participate. Share this blog on your FB, Twitter and Google +. Lets build this dialogue.
When is the right time to introduce your mate to your children? How do you do it?
This one is going to be interesting….check out a few comments below. Leave comments. Im curious to read what you think. 🙂
Rachel said: “Being a single mom and their sole provider its hard not to introduce your kids to someone especially since they’d be at your home. However I don’t allow them to see any sort of affection or spend time with that person. Does that make sense? I don’t want a bond to develop or them to see lots of guys hugging or kissing their mom.”
Rhonda said: “The right time to introduce your mate to your children is when the two of you have been dating for a while depending on how the relationship is going I would say 6 mths. If you have small children try a public place to see how they interact with the kids and if your children are older maybe over dinner”
Maria said: “That all depends on the children ages. If you have very small children/ toddlers, I would only bring my mate around when they’re not present. I would only have male company when they were asleep or visiting their dad for the weekend. If you have older kids/ grade school age, I would first introduce them in a group setting, fam function, family outing, something like that where there’s already a lot of other people around so its not so intimate and obvious. If you have teenagers/ high schoolers, it is what it is, I would say: “this is such and such, we’re going to dinner, be right back” (no explanation really needed).”
Faith said: “This is a toughy. U shouldn’t introduce your mate to your children unless you are certain that you want your mate to be a permanent part of your life. I think You should gradually acclimate your mate to your kids. No forced bonding. A little time here, a little time there.”
I know there are going to be some interesting answers to this. Comment…click the area right beneath the blog that says “reply” or the speech bubble at the top of this blog entry. -Precise
