This week’s Friday Heat brings a strong mix of soulful expression, street energy, and genre-bending creativity across both albums and singles. Raye sets the tone with THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE, delivering a project rooted in vulnerability and musical depth. Elmiene follows with sounds for someone, offering a smooth, introspective listen that leans into feeling and storytelling. Yeat keeps his momentum going with ADL, packed with his signature sound and high-energy production, while Fetty Wap returns with Zavier, bringing a familiar voice back into the conversation.

On the singles side, there’s range and presence across the board. Snoop Dogg slides through with “Stop Counting My Poccets,” keeping it direct and unapologetic. Rick Ross, French Montana, and Max B connect on “Minks In Miami,” delivering luxury talk over polished production. Tank And The Bangas team up with Lucky Daye for “Move,” blending soul, funk, and rhythm in a way that feels refreshing.

Jenevieve continues to carve her lane with “Waiting Room,” while aja monet links with Meshell Ndegeocello and Georgia Anne Muldrow for a layered, poetic offering on “elsewhere.” Momo Boyd brings a lighter touch with “She’s a Sweetheart,” and KAIRO adds a melodic presence with “HALO.”

Closing things out, Desiigner taps back in with “Relax,” Trevor Jackson delivers emotion on “Bleed Next To A Shark,” and Zoe Osama keeps it raw with “BITCH PLZ.” This week’s lineup reflects how wide the sound is right now, with each artist bringing something distinct to the table.

“Yo…whats up Rick Ross!!” said some random woman “Yeah Man I see you Rick Rossin it over there!” said some random guys on a street corner while I was walking down the street with a young lady. “6 Piece, Mild Sauce..aint got not bread…bitch I got coleslaw…bitch I got coleslaw!!”….HA! The last one is a knock off of Rick Ross’s song “9 Piece” I made up when I was doing the CGX showcase…lol

Umm…yeah …anyway. The only thing Rick Ross and I have in common is that we both rap; however up until a few weeks ago we probably did weigh the same.

To be honest I never realized I was so huge until my doctor used the words “Morbidly Obese” with me. I studied Latin at Hales Franciscan (S/O to Father Lawrence) so I know that morbid is derived from the Latin word meaning diseased or unhealthy. Obese means fat. So pretty much I was so huge that I was at risk of getting some type of disease that could potentially kill me. Thats is sobering.

I have too much to live for and things to do. I had to change my mind. Fortunately I have people in my life that care for me and have been helping me on this journey and I appreciate them a great deal. I’ve been working out 5 days a week, cutting calories and a list of other things that has led to me shedding 28.0 pounds as of 2 minutes ago. I just weighed myself.

My short term goal is to loose 30 pounds. I’m 2 pounds away!! My long term goal is to get to 250 pounds. Im 42 pounds away.

I can’t speak highly enough about my support system. Everyone from friends and family have been here for me during this journey. They have always been here. I just needed to choose to do it.

It’s so amazing to feel your body change for the better. My clothes fit different, I’m more energetic and over all I just feel good.

I know there are so many other people out there who are like me and what to drop some weight and get healthier. Many of us wait till the New Year to get started on our journey.

I was speaking with someone very close to me and she had the idea of getting fit before the New Year. Lets not wait to drop the weight. Lets go into 2014 NEW!!! IT’S GENIUS!!

I have started The October 1st Challenge “Get Fit For 2014”. The idea is to start your training now and actually get the ball moving in 2013 towards your fitness goals, so that it is second nature by the time the new year comes around. Who knows, maybe you can achieve your goal by midnight of December 31, 2013.

YOU have to WANT to do THIS. No one else can coax you or make fun of you enough to change your life. Thousands of others including myself are here for you to provide support. We need each other, so lets help each other.

So…ARE YOU WITH ME?!!!

I have started a Facebook Group called Precise Fitness. Click here and join the group. We get it going on October 1st and don’t worry about the Holidays, we have solutions for that.

I want to know what you think about this. How much weight do you want to loose? Will you join me on this challenge. Leave a comment below.

If you want to know more about what I’m doing to lose weight email me at precisemuzic@gmail.com or precisefitness@groups.facebook.com
