Welcome to the third topic in this series entitled What Ladies Love.
The last few weeks have been eye opening. Once you are blessed to meet the person who can meet a majority of what you seek and can add joy to your life you must cherish them. I know Im not the only one who has been on this “search” for a while. I have been in a few relationships and we have parted ways for a number of reasons. Most times we separate is because of something that either of us could not tolerate. A #DealBreaker.
Question:
What do you consider a deal breaker in a relationship?

I have a couple of deal breakers. The first is being dishonest about something that will affect the relationship. Second is constant distrust and accusations.
Distrust and accusations. Trust can be hard to regain.
I feel bad for saying but if a guy is lacking in bed then I feel like that’s something that I can’t get passed no matter how good to me you are… But something serious a disrespectful man will not fly with me if you can not treat me right or build me up then that means you do not deserve any of my love or benefits.
I feel the same way about a woman…Im “Adventurous”…you cant be scared…lol I also agree with respect…it should be mutual…if someone does not respect you can they really care for you?
Lying is a definite deal breaker. Infidelity is another one. Poor hygiene, spineless.
No body wants a musty mate…HA HA HA!!!
A man who is not a Christian and has no interest in learning about the faith.
I respect that stance. What if he is a christian and a liar?
There are a few deal breakers. 1) liar 2) disloyal 3) self serving 4) emotionally unavailable 5 ) a man who doesnt care for his kids 6) last but not least chemistry is a must. Good on paper means nothing if we just don’t click.
Self serving?…im curious as to what you mean by that. The chemistry is a must and it cant be forced…its either there or its not…I like to call it “Vibe”
A liar, the non-committal, a leechy man, a man void of morals/conscience, an addict of any type, an abusive man, or a man who does not value me in his life or does not show it.
The value of someones own life is key…if they dont care about themselves how can they really care about you?
Dealbreaker????? An unhealthy man. Why would I look forward to changing diapers or feeding my man or making sure he takes his medication at an older age. I know some physical things happen that we can’t control but to neglect health now while dating and still under 50 ; MEGA DEAL BREAKER!!!!!
I feel you on that…I have a friend …her name is Rose and she is always on me about my health. Its truly important more important than money…who cares how much you make if its going on doctor bills and caregivers.
Smoking, being disrespectful, selfishness, not affectionate, bad breath, lying, unreliable and ugly feet.
The smoking and bad breath go hand in hand…The ugly feet…HILARIOUS!!!!
Cheating, having a child with someone else…. And most of the above….
It always surprises me that people can stay with their mate after having a child with someone else. Can you honestly say you can love a child that is not yours and has been created outside of your union?
Deal breakers are cheating, lying, being sneaky, i mean anything else i would make it work but those are just unacceptable..
Lying is the main one in this thread…guys must do ALOT of it…lol

Deal breaker for me is lying! Even lies by omission. To me, that means you don’t trust me to make a decision and you want to maintain control. I don’t like that at all.
Lies by omission is not technically lying…thats hiding.
LYING ABOUT ANYTHING. THATS WITH ALL RELATIONSHIPS. CRAZY AND SOME PEOPLE LIE JUST TO BE LYING
Lying is my pet peeve! True men and women tells the truth regardless of the outcome. Inconsiderateness get under my skin also.
My dealbreaker would be…A MAN WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF SELF, or NO DESIRE TO EVEN FIND OUT ABOUT HIS CULTURE….A MAN WHO DOESNT SEE HIS MOTHER AS A QUEEN..A MAN WHO DISRESPECTS AN ELDER OR A CHILD..a MAN WHO DOESNT KNOW THAT HE IS A DIVINE REFLECTION OF GOD..and almost lastly A MAN WHO DOESNT UNDERSTAND THE ART OF MAKING LOVE..the act of creating in whatever form is A GODS BUSINESS..and finally…IF HE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO PARTNER AND BE-FRIEND A SISTA LIKE ME…then guess what…DEAL BREAKER!!!!! BOOOM!!!…(p.s i can still be your friend cuz im cool like dat)
