About 2 months ago Jaden Smith son of mega-stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith released the visual for his song “Icon” off of his latest release Syre. The song is high energy and a gold-clad, gold tooth Jaden stands in front of a Tesla Model X with the back doors up as he does his best Micheal Jackson impersonation. Being the son of one of the most beloved men in the world can’t be easy. Being able to carve out a niche for yourself has to be harder. Jaden has managed to grow into a legitimate star on his own merits and by the looks of it, he is not the fresh prince. Jaden is using his stardom and star power to change the world. He started an environmentally conscious water company and just like the video for “Icon” his flows are on point. Check it out below.

It is no secret where Jaden’s well of talent is derived from. His father Will won the first Hip-Hop Grammy with his partner Jazzy Jeff and blossomed into a bonafide megastar. Not to be outdone Will did a cover of his son’s video. Let’s just say it’s exactly what you expect from him. Of course it’s hilarious and in the end, it turns out that it’s just a dad being proud of his son. “Hey Diggy 100 million streams, congratulations man 100 million, congrats, I love you,” says Will Smith as he gushes with pride. Smith surfaced on Instagram in December of last year and already has some legendary posts for the gram. Will has been making a resurgence of sorts since the release of the Netflix movie “Bright” that received scathing reviews from the press and mixed reviews from the public.  One thing for sure Will has not lost it, his parody of Jaden’s song has over 2 million views. Check it out below.
